individually we are nothing, but as a whole, we are PROPAGANDA
This is just the opening salvo in a new series I'm about to launch on Chapo.Chat to convince you that the internet habit is preventing you from doing cooler things. It's a long story and not a bit, during which I'm going to out myself as an old. The story is particularly fun, because in 30 solid years of interneting constantly, the conversations haven't changed, at all, anywhere on the internet (nazis were trying to recruit me on dial-up prodigy message boards in video game forums in 1991) and I've deprived myself of making cooler things. It's a work in progress, but I just wanted to break the seal.
i dunno, i lived on the street for like ten years and didn't participate on capitalism except for sales tax. it was basically minimal effort as far as a citizen is concerned. if you don't have children you basically have no excuse for not doing it constantly unless you are striving for something that prhobits you from doing so or have dependents.
edit: interesting is basically open to interpretation. being a decent person isn't, and that's all that really matters, so if you've got that you've already got a leg up on most people these days, and a sense of humor can be shared.
after you've been around enough shit bags you realize that you only want decent people in your life. morality isn't really that open to interpretation. the it meant something else.
i used to be really introverted until i started doing drugs and drinking. it made life a lot easier for me because i wasn't so in my head so much, and didn't really care so much about what the fuck other people thought, i wasn't worried about judgement or anything of the like anymore, which had the effect of making people like me a little bit more, and also made me less introverted.
i didn't say anything about should. i said could. excellent shit posting is fun, but this entire site is basically preaching to a choir
i'm barely on. i hate moderators, and even chapo.chat has moderators.
it doesn't even matter if you post or not, they'd just create posters to manufacture consent. (reddit, not chapo)
but yeah, people should waste less time posting on the fucking internet, and doing more shit that creates actual goodshit. good on you for recognizing that. 👍
How are you not online all the time, can you not afford the internet?
It's a little difficult to not be extremely online and know what chapo.chat is. How do you define "i’m barely on" when you say that?
chapotraphouse was the biggest leftist thing on reddit, and reddit is the biggest forum on the internet dude. this place could be more known for sure, but right now it's the biggest leftist forum on the internet in america
Right, but still an infinitesimal fraction of people. Barely anyone I know (who are younger than me) cares about Reddit at all, let alone its popular left nightclub. When you say I'm "barely on" do you mean like, you don't check the internet more than 50 times a day? I'm around there I think.
yeah, it varies lately, but within the last few years theres been months on end where i haven't logged onto the fucking internet.
the internet in the last decade has devolved into just another controlled form of media. this shit is completely controlled as compared to what it used to be.
