I do this all the time. I felt the only thing that allows me to get invested in shows nowadays is if they’re in a different language and I must use subtitles. Can’t just scroll through Twitter cause you HAVE to read. So I’ve been going through a lot of C-dramas and K-dramas. It definitely has been actually more enjoyable than regular ‘ambient tv’ watching.
