Curious how American depictions of a supposedly equal North American Union literally always depict it as dominated by American politicians/institutions/interests.

That's the least stupid part to me. America would absolutely use its economic and military muscle to ensure that its interests always came first.

Most Libs (like the one who made this map) don't think that way. They genuinely think that if such a Union existed it would be entirely equal, democratic, and fair; but that that every other country will still inevitably conform to America completely on their own free will. The stupid part is thinking that American domination would persist if the entirely equal union they imagine was real.

Moreover, in the North American Union depicted here (with free and equal participation in national elections) I frankly couldn't imagine Quebec voting for Biden or Trump, much less everywhere else. Anyway, America already uses their economic and military muscle to ensure that their interest come first in the Americas, it's just that their interests do not include letting the countries they brutally exploit vote in their elections. If Puerto Rico can't get the Electoral votes after over a century in the U.S, in what world would they possibly give it to Cuba?
