    Hitman 2 (the recent one)

There's a side mission where you redact an Italian fascist, it's great.

Replaying Disco Elysium with a heavy Physical/Motorics build. What a game

The payoff for wearing the tie the entire time was incredible. The final dream scene broke my heart.

The letter in the hidden compartment of your case notes was a punch in the gut. You've been walking around, this alcoholic loser, a punchline of a person, making jokes about your condition, and then you read that and realize you meant something to someone, even if it was a long time ago. And they take that moment to flash DISCO ELYSIUM across the screen. Probably the most emotional moment in a game I can think of?

Saving up my energy so I can ascend to boomerhood when Flight Sim is out in a couple weeks.

Just gonna kick back with a pot of coffee, crack out some charts, do incompetent IFR flights between shithole airports in a Cessna 152, then top it all off by whining on Avsim about something inconsequential.

Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. Really enjoying it. staying in chapter 2 right now because the camp and the crew is nice and comfy and i dont like micah just from the beginning of the game and dont want to save him. So im just hunting to get the satchels and doing side stuff.

I just finished my first play through of Red Dead 2 and, while not without its flaws, I would consider it probably the best overall gaming experience of the ps4/Xbone generation

I really need to finish that. I started playing the same time as a friend and they beat it but I stopped in chapter 3. I'm intimidated since I don't remember the controls but it's such a good game.

Finished Disco Elysium, going back to my modded New Vegas game, and playing more Racial Justice bundle games to review.

    Paper Mario: The Origami King

I'm liking it so far. It's a shame that so many people decided it was bad before it even hit the shelves. They're missing out!

Same. First Paper Mario I've played, actually. Loving everything else about it, but not really wild about the battle system, at least for non-boss encounters. Literally every other aspect of the game is great though. Art, writing, music, and the gameplay outside of the puzzle battles are wonderful. I'm on Purple Streamer rn and do feel like this part of the game's a bit weaker than past areas, but hopefully it doesn't trend to subsequent parts.

I'm just about done with the yellow streamer myself; been slow burning this game cause I don't know what to play next. But I do agree with your assessment, save for the battle system everything else has been very polished so far.

If you've never played any of the other ones then you should definitely look into the first two! The first one is one of my favorite games of all time, and while I just though the sequel was good many people think that it is even better than the first. So either way you can't go wrong. I do think that TOK has better writing though, but from what I remember there's a lot less dialogue in the first two, so they didn't have quite as many opportunities to throw in little jokes.

Cool, I'm definitely interested in looking at more of the series later (ginna be RPG'd out after this).

Worth disclaiming that my opinion of the battle system is probably made a bit worse because the last thing I'd been playing was Indivisible, which happens to be a game that does a much better job of breaking from traditional RPG battling.

Did they? I know that there was spme concern prerelease about the lack of experience points, but I've primarily heard positive things since it dropped.

Seems like its a neat new take even if its not the return to TTYD I'd like to see. I'm looking forward to playing it once I've cleared out some other stuff I've been working on.

It seemed to me like the Switch subreddit was split prior to release; half excited and half dooming it to failure.

It's a solid game though. I do miss the old turn based JRPG elements from 1 and 2, and I have a few other minor gripes, but overall as long as you approach it as its own game you'll have a good time.

About to beat Fire Emblem: Three Houses

But buddy, there's 4 different paths you can take and multiple different builds you can make. You can make Byleth a dummy thicc protector of your groomed classroom. You can also become a Magic Girl who brings light to darkness with the power of friendship and FIRE.

Ace combat 7. I recently figured out how to emulate a ps2 so I've been playing AC04/5/0 aswell and having a blast. Any tips for other ps2 games I have to play?

Ghost of Tsushima. Enjoying it very, very much. Also plenty of Apex Legends and Fall Guys. Other than that, just looking forward to Crash 4.

Impossible lair is great! It's two different types of platformers, you can tackle levels in almost any order, every level has an excellent alternate version you unlock through overworld puzzles, and the music is (of course) phenomenal.
