MLs (like me): nooooo you need proper structure and rigid organization to engage effectively against the state in a mass movement

Antifa: haha police station go whoosh.

      We need both.

Police station going whoosh is never going to achieve the endgoal, but police stations going whoosh is absolutely a beacon and victory of the cause that has lit a fire underneath people to organise harder. Motivation is a huge factor and seeing victories (even when they're not really achieving something that leads anywhere) is motivating.

I see the different approaches as mutually beneficial and part of the same whole that we call the movement.

Police stations going whoosh is the exact kind of display of power the left has needed to convince people that they can fight back against the state.

Honestly, the biggest thing holding the working class back is they are so beaten down and demoralised by the system that they truly believe they are powerless. Police stations going whoosh scares everyone so much because it symbolises a shift in power that threatens everything they thought they knew about the world.

Yeah that and even small things are a constant remind that the left is out there. I see people saying graffiti doesn't do anything but it does, it acts as a persistent reminder to leftists that we're out there and things are happening. The more of it people see everyday the better.

Yeah, totally agree. Tendency is just a launchpad for praxis.
