"So Mr FBI what can you tell us about the portland organisers?"
"Well Mr CIA the main rift between the different factions appears to be based on whether they want to cancel the zootopia bunny"

They really wish it was, because a chaotic maelstrom is much harder to combat than your typical alt-right gangs that announce their plans on a facebook page. There is no organization because there doesn't need to be. The feds are trying to fight the fucking wind.

They either believe their own lies or they're so cucked by hierarchal thinking and order that they can't conceive of people working together without a rigid power structure.

Yeah it's like how conservatives can't understand why a white person would be pro-BLM and assume they have some ulterior motive besides justice. In their mind everyone is out for themselves and just doing whatever moves them up in the social hierarchy so they literally just don't understand why someone would care about people outside of their social circle.

Pig thinking: Well they say they aren't an organisation, but since when are we taking their advice? They're probably trying to hide it from us.

They probably have a bloated enough budget that they can have one group working on that presumption, another group on another assumption, and so forth.

Like, it's unlikely, but if they found some kinda organization, it was a good gamble. Otherwise, they still end up with a list of people with "wrong" opinions which will be useful if they decide to go full mask off SS.

MLs (like me): nooooo you need proper structure and rigid organization to engage effectively against the state in a mass movement

Antifa: haha police station go whoosh.

      We need both.

Police station going whoosh is never going to achieve the endgoal, but police stations going whoosh is absolutely a beacon and victory of the cause that has lit a fire underneath people to organise harder. Motivation is a huge factor and seeing victories (even when they're not really achieving something that leads anywhere) is motivating.

I see the different approaches as mutually beneficial and part of the same whole that we call the movement.

Police stations going whoosh is the exact kind of display of power the left has needed to convince people that they can fight back against the state.

Honestly, the biggest thing holding the working class back is they are so beaten down and demoralised by the system that they truly believe they are powerless. Police stations going whoosh scares everyone so much because it symbolises a shift in power that threatens everything they thought they knew about the world.

Yeah that and even small things are a constant remind that the left is out there. I see people saying graffiti doesn't do anything but it does, it acts as a persistent reminder to leftists that we're out there and things are happening. The more of it people see everyday the better.

It's funny that they treated it like a top-down hierarchical insurgency. I'm sure there are people high up in DHS that know it's bullshit but they can't ruin the propaganda by telling the cops the truth

Also I really want to see the source for this

The cops also know this, but need to pretend there is one because you can't have big wins against a cloud of anarchy.

Same thing with drug trafficking and all their other bullshit. They need an enemy big enough to justify their budget.

Nah dude cops are fuckin morons, including DHS goons. The idea that antifa was a structured international terrorist organization funded by George Soros stems from a law enforcement conference in Germany where a now-disgraced fascist head of federal police told a bunch of international cops about it. All the higher up cops know it's bullshit but they want their beat cops and detectives to believe it because it suits their interests. They can demand funding and less legal restrictions on the basis of stopping domestic terrorism and the antisemitic fascist undertones are icing on the cake.

Mental image of a federal agent hitting the "enhance button" and slowly as the image de-pixelates its just swollen pink pig balls with a log of shit resting between each gonad.

For all of the "intelligence" they do or have, they're pretty stupid to understand nothing about people's motivation for civil disobedience. It's like they think it's a terrorist cell with an evil mastermind and loyal, brainwashed followers.

i love the idea of a whole unit of federal agents sitting in a room together with a big board trying to figure out which felix tweet made someone cancel him
