Microsoft sucks and I say this as someone that loves my PC.
Remember they had the huge success in the west with the Xbox360 and could only hold on to that success for a single generation LOL.
Sorry, I know console wars are bullshit but the 360 to me was the console that produced the most capital G gamers of any generation. It doesn't help that I'm not a big fan of fps shooters and white male power fantasies.
They only had that success because the 360 was rushed to market to be first for both its console generation and the HD-DVD format. The 360's red ring of deaths and bad build quality alienated so many people, it was only inevitable that the Xbone and anything after it was not going to perform well.
I think they're setting up for a comeback this gen personally, what with all their big name developer/publisher acquirements.
Yeah I think they're gonna be pretty competitive, if not the outright winner this time, cause of having an entry level console + Game Pass

they do care about g*mers not xbox owners though like which actually makes sense they have a pretty bigger market share of the pc market so iike the xbox game pass is a move to start getting the pc g*mers like microsoft has been trying to get the pc gaming market for so long like windows live and then their awfull game store on windows 8 and 10 like they are still trying to get this market

IDEK if the 360 was a total success since it was outsold by the PS3 despite launching a year earlier (probably cause RROD + being a nonstarter in Japan). The XbOne being outsold by even the Switch is hilarious though
the switch situation makes sense because the switch in on a space by itself like i have no interest in having a ps5 because i have a pc and it is pretty good but i own a switch because i enjoy the handheld thing like the being it's own thing works out fine
Well yeah the Switch is doing really well.
Also I didn't know the PS3 outsold it, lol that owns!
