I feel fuckin bad for the nurses tbh. Things are going to be apocalyptic for them for a while 😓

Not enough nurse appreciation in this thread for my taste: things have been, are, and continue to be apocalyptic for nurses and a bunch of different hospital staff in the US. Please fact check me, but an EMT would benefit from. $15 minimum wage: ??? The ones who have to barge into the viscera and save people in their most dire hour can't buy a house in the community they serve? They struggle to order a pizza and a PPV sports event after healing a mountain of trauma???? Fuck you.

Nurses are understaffed by design and are struggling to find the right equipment. The supply chain is shot and they get the shitty gloves, off-brand supplies, and a constant vibration of new rules & executive decisions. Doctors diagnose and prescribe, but there is a full operation that tests and treats people before medicine gets involved. The backbone of the hospital gets absolutely shit on. My friend who works at the hospital in Liberal Mountain, Idaho where we all live (it's right across the street from the Adrenachrome factory where I work) said something about a salary cap. Like there's an amount where the hospital decides that they would be overpaid. As if the people making a decision like that aren't the most overpaid pieces of shit profiting off of corpses and critical injuries & illnesses.
