They did actually meet. I think most of the Western Lefts discourse on China is a result of not knowing anything about China besides what is told to us, and us having to learn in real time everything there is to know about the left.

The way the book is protruding off the shelf... Intentional? The universe working in mysterious ways?

If you pull that book, the bookshelf spins around and shoves you into the secret laboratory where Jeremy Corbyn invents new forms of antisemitism.

He really was, it's crazy how they turned mum's-knitted-jumper wearing, jam-making, allotment-gardening ol Corbyn into a demon.

Literally the living embodiment of someone's nice British granddad and for yet we prefer an American bigot with absolute contempt for everyone

I remember the polls saying people thought Corbyn was more in touch with the british people, but thought Johnson would be a better PM. Absolute Stockholm syndrome mindset.

I remember watching one of the debates and I instantly realized, just a few minutes in, that Corybn would lose. The most important indicator of how well someone will do is by how "presidential" they seem to people. No matter how good your policy is, how much you empathize with and clearly fight for working people, they will jump at the person that can dominate the stage and impose themselves on the people around them. For whatever reason people need that to feel secure or something I guess.

I knew he would lose, but I thought it would be a hung parliament, not one of the worst defeats any party returned in history. I guess the exception is Trump for the presidential thing.

Corbyn on twitter some day in the future: I stand with Xi Jinping's decision to nuke the USA. I now request England to be nuked.

Can we get Corbyn to debunk the “xijiang” myth

Also it would be based if Corbyn started asking about why the CIA is funding radical far right terrorism in China and staging a genocide to cover up the current genocide they are committing

He raised concerns of human rights when he met Xi. However Corbyn would probably be way better for China than anyone else.

the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry
