The porn industry is probably the best example of Lumpens. They do not give a shit about anything except their money. That's it. They operate within the grey lines of the law and the capitalist system. There are some better laws in European countries and some of Latin America regarding safe sex and the filming of porn. Those laws aren't here in the US, and there is more money to be made which prompts a lot of Europeans to travel to the US when they do porn.

They are absolutely morally bankrupt though. The best recent example is how the big studios have went so far out of their way to protect their superstar rapists. James Deen should be in fucking jail, same with Markus Dupree whom there is overwhelming evidence of them being guilty of rape. In the past year, Manuel Ferrara and Ryan Madison were accused, which don't shock me whatsoever given how rapey their scenes are in general.

The problem is that if you bring any of this up to people, they slander you as sex-negative, or even try to accuse you of wanting Sharia law because you might break the spell that abusers and rapists have over their victim. Convincing young, vulnerable people that they'll be rich/famous/loved/empowered if they choose to be porn stars or hookers, and that it's a bold, "mature" choice is a tale as old as time. We all rightly provide support for victims, but you're an asshole if you try to prevent people from being victimized in the future.

“Those laws aren’t here in the US, and there is more money to be made which prompts a lot of Europeans to travel to the US when they do porn. “

You can just cross out porn and it’s true for most other industries.

Lots of the really weird/exploitative stuff would go away because nobody would want to it without the threat of homelessness. Lots of people would still post nudes and shit because that stuff people enjoy doing

Erotic expression by people enthusiastic to do it would probably still exist. But such expression is not really pornography, which is the commodification of sexual expression by people who, when not coerced physically, are choosing this form of exploitation over others.

As an ex-fssw and who knows many fssw, I can guarantee 99% of sex workers would not want to do this if there were any other options. And I'm not sure it can be done ethically at all even less "severe" aspects like camgirls who make their own content. It's a really complicated topic for sure but yeah

You'd probably get some nudes and just general showing off for kicks, maybe some couples sharing stuff.

People having sex with strangers on camera for the whole world to consume? Yeah that's probably gonna go away.

Anyway, we're gonna gonna have sex robots.

lmao how could you actually believe that? People voluntarily having sex with strangers on camera and uploading it to the internet will absolutely happen.

I would lump that (broadly) into couples and exhibitionists though.
