So yesterday I commented that I may make a whitepill thread, and most people seemed to like it, so I figured I'd give it a go.

Here are some hopeful facts for y'all:

  • The DSA, even though it's libby, grew by over 25,000 people in less than a year.
  • Right-wing YouTubers such as Paul Joseph Watson, Sargon of Akkad, and other "Old Guard" reactionary YouTubers have seen their numbers stagnate, (PJW for instance had 1 million subs in 2016. He still has 1 million subs.) while leftist YouTubers have seen their numbers grow (Vaush, ContraPoints, Hakim, etc, regardless of what you think of them, they have grown)
  • 80 percent of workers live paycheck to paycheck, while 70 percent say the struggle financially. Why is this good? Well to put it simply - there is no way that 70 percent of Americans - or 229.6 million people - are going to stay passive and allow the government to keep worsening their standards of life.
  • Gloria La Riva and the PSL got around 6k votes in 2012. In 2016 and 2020, she got around 75k.
  • 75 Percent of Americans support measures such as Bernie's, i.e. medicare for all, increasing minimum wage, etc.
  • 70 percent of millennials say they'd vote for a socialist. Of course much of this is probably succdem stuff, but it's still incredibly good.
  • Around 75 percent of Americans disapprove of Congress.
  • 250 Million Indians are currently on strike in their country to demand better working conditions, some waving hammer and sickle flags

Finally, in my personal experience, almost all of my classmates (i'm Gen Z) are at least social democrats, if not anarchists or communists.

And as silly as it may sound, don't forget that Chapo Trap House, Citations Needed, TrueAnon, Red Scare and other left-wing podcasts have huge audiences, especially amongst millennials and Gen Z, and are arguably bigger than the online left-wing in the 2000s during Bush's presidency.

I know that I didn't cover much about Europe, but I can only really speak to my experience as being an American. Please chime in with your own whitepills and I will add them, especially if they are not related to America.

Please organize offline, and spread propaganda posters around your neighborhood, as well as online harrasment of shitheads like Tanden, Buttigeig, and the other neolibs in Biden's cabinet. But get offline, and get organizing! We have a world to win!

Probably true, but it will be because human society will have regressed to primitive communism in the post-apocalyptic wasteland.

I mean if we aren't then the world kinda cooks and dies so even if we become shitlibs there will be no one left to make fun of us for it

With Obama gone people are gonna become increasingly more and more frustrated with the Dem establishment. Look at all the people who fucking hate Rahm Emmanuel and who aren't even leftie adjacent.

People voted for Biden to stop the bleeding but basically no one thinks he's going to make things better. People thought Obama was going to make things better, and it took a few years for people to realize he wouldn't.
