What's weird about it is the 4ish year gap before they were found.

Idk how that's useful for marketing or how whoever put it there would even be aware that the news would even bother promoting it.

Maybe it's an inside job thing and all those guys who said the government is going to fake alien contact were right

I bet it's that piece of shit elon musk doing whatever fucking shitty publicity stunt to make people forget he hung out with Ghislaine Maxwell.

Whatever this is, be done with it, it's getting tedious and cringe.

I don't get all the negativity in this thread.

Like yeah it's clearly not aliens, but dropping reflective metal pillars to accentuate the beauty of natural places is a legit (if tiny) school of art, I'm happy it exists, and they're not trying to sell us anything.

It's not going to usher in global revolution or anything but not everything in this world is bad and its extremely cool and good that some peeps are spending significant portions of their lives making the world a more beautiful and mysterious place without asking for material or social reward.

At first I had hope this was some kinda cool art exhibit, but yeah they're probably just trying to sell us something :(

I dunno about a marketing stunt. I thought the Utah one was placed in 2015 or 16 going by aerial photos?

I mean I don't think it's aliens either. Maybe some fuckwit sociopath billionaire just doing weird shit to fuck with people.
