Obviously the main plot has pretty decent politics, but it just struck me how basically everyone in the Capitol is queer coded in one way or another. Are they attempting to say something with this, and if so what, or am I reading too much into it?

Like half the Hunger Games is queer coded, which is astounding and almost impressive for a series with no canon queer characters (excluding 1-2 side characters in the prequel book)
