        They're called bacteriophages. They can use RNA or DNA, but they only infect bacteria. I've always thought they were some of the creepiest looking things in existence.

      It hits me thinking about the person who has to clean off the iPads in between uses. You might not even have to see the people use them in their final hours, but just wipe it with alcohol and pass it to the next room. Like, if you're dying of COVID, you have this impossibly complex life that's winding down and you see the back of the head of some asshole in scrubs who places the iPad down in front of you to say goodbye to people. That asshole has nothing to say, nothing to do with you, but, I don't know, what a strange, non-intimate glimpse to have of a person.

      It's an obscure piece of qualia to imagine.
