CW: Blatant sinophobia
This kinda shit is just gonna happen more and more and it pisses me off.
couldn't tell what was happening in the video but apparently it's real and also from 2006, when america was being a beacon of greatness in the middle east
Yeah I mean China's not perfect, especially being such a large country I'm not surprised some fucked up shit has happened there. I'm really curious what actual Chinese citizens think of it though, and how their media portrays western nations given our shitty track record for atrocities.
They’ve been brained washed by communist propaganda for the last 30 years.
The irony lmao.
I found that part so funny because so many US conservatives I talk to have an emotional reaction to the word "communism" even though they can't explain what communism is, but it's the Chinese people who are brainwashed
Communism is when a tiny, elite class of people own and control the government and steal wealth from the peasants.
Probably should have linked to this so ya'll can see the full comment chain. My first post on chapo.chat, sorry if I suck
Americans are so racist, wish someone would bomb the shit out of them (the goverment not the people)
Can someone contextualize the video at the top of that thread? Seems pretty bad to me...
I don't have the context for it besides the wiki on the incident, it probably sucks. Cops and military suck shit no matter where you are for the most part.
Being said cops are shooting people in the street in the US literally every day. Like if we're comparing cruelties, I don't understand the point of looking at China.
Headline about America:
A Mexican national was fatally wounded on the US border today after the man approached the fence and refused to comply with officers' commands, authorities say
Headline about China:
Chinese PLA military shooting down helpless Tibetan Pilgrims on their pilgrimage to the Dalai Lama.
Reading the wiki article about this, it does sounds quite appalling, but do I wonder why this decade and a half well-known incident is being dug up all of a sudden.
Could it be that someone is trying to draw attention away from another series of event? Nah, could not be, I am probably just paranoid.
what even is /r/publicfreakout? I thought it was for like worldstar fights and shit
