She has literally never looked worse in her entire career as she has in the past 3-6 months with her open disregard of regular americans lives during the pandemic. Every day she does some psycho demented interview.

The leaders of the democratic party are making it clear they want people to suffer, but why?

But they did a performative weed vote today. If the Republicans were smart they would have voted for weed to fuck the dems over even more.

This is correct. They could be the my favorite country singer smokes weed so it should be legal party while the democrats start an eight person committee with three Sacklers to research the benefits of legalizing it.

If the House blocks it like publications are saying they're going to do: That'll be a kick in the balls. Nearly EVERYONE agrees it should be decriminalized. If it was federal level that'd be a huge boon and probably one of the good marks on Trump's (and I guess Bid's) record even though he (and the other he) had nothing to do with it.

Whichever, it's been a day. I just know articles were like "yeah it's all well and good but it's symbolic, it' s not gonna pass the other half."

I just think it's hilarious that Republicans voted against it. They've made it clear to people like us that the only difference between the parties is that Republicans don't want weed to be legal.

Idk if you're implying that "performative" votes are bad or not, but they aren't. Making a demonstration of what you as an individual or what your party stands for knowing that it won't pass because you don't have enough power right now is good politics. Its a message to the people that are paying attention. I mean thats what trying to pass a Medicare for All bill every congress is for right?
