      From the same page :

"Marx refrains from all oratorical flourish; he goes straight to the point, in simple and terse language; sentence by sentence he develops incisively, and with ruthless logic, his own standpoint, and, without any peroration, ends with a summary of the political situation. Anyone would think that Marx’ own personality was in no wise concerned, and that his only business was to deliver a political lecture to the jury. "

Wow hes just like me, intelligent, nihilistic and a wicked sense of humor!

He was also a dirtbag that would spend all his money on booze, sleep all day fully clothed on the couch, would pick fights in english pubs, and smash street lamps and run from the cops. Good to know we are carrying on his legacy 150 years later

Tru but I get hot when I sleep so I would probably take off my shirt and socks after dozing off for 30min

Marx most likely had hidradenitis (a horrifying kind of acne that involves painful lumps of skin around the groin and armpits) and a bad liver. He was not a healthy man so it's not like he had much else to do with his time but stay up all night reading bank records from the library. Plus he was legally stateless most of his life, making regular employment difficult to near impossible.

he was basically the perfect whirlwind of drunken cynical Prussian to come up with the theory of alienation when he did

Marx was not only a gamer, but also destroyed people with facts and logic.

Engels would use it sometimes too. Does anyone have that one quote where Engels is talking about a recently elected black city councilman or something in Paris and he says it's appropriate he's representing a district with a zoo? I can't find it.
