damn i bet they have some cool history books over there that're not translated into english. i want to hear hot chinese takes on the soviet union, stalin, brezhnev etc.

    I read it and it just comes off as saying that having a singular all encompassing state is what is best and having all commands come from the party in charge. Which might work from a Chinese collective culture, but a lot of cultures don’t operate that way.
