    There's something amazing about how there's like youtuber who make a video twice a year which consists of one mediocre essay and that's their entire job, and they earn more doing that than most of us ever will.

          Can't speak to Hbomberguy, but Contrapoints is a professional paralegal and copywriter, doing the YouTube shit in her spare time. And the bulk of that time on YouTube was spent in anonymity.

          Also, the production values have scaled up considerably even just in the last year or two. I can't blame someone who puts on ten tons of makeup and engages in an elaborate choreography on a professionally assembled set to produce content at the rate of Stephen "Screaming at You Under My Bedsheet" Molyneux or Ben "Koch Bux To Do Low Rent Crossfire" Shapiro.
