for a dude worth like $100 billion you’d think Zuck would stop getting the $7.75+tip haircuts from Supercuts but old habits die hard I guess

are you fucking kidding? you just used aspergers, a type of autism, as an insult. what would make you think that is okay? are the other sites you visit stormfront and parler? get the fuck out of here with that shit.

Mostly twitter and bunkerchan. Why do you care so much? it's words on a screen, I see mean shit directed vaguely at me all the time online and I don't care. Maybe like, grow thicker skin

are you fucking kidding? that's the worst fucking argument you could have possibly come up with. you're arguing that other people being mean to you makes it okay to demean and dehumanize neurodiverse people. that's called being an unrepentant asshole.

the whole fucking point of leftist politics is having empathy for other people. using language that specifically demeans people and makes them a shibboleth for worthlessness makes you a materially bad person just like a landlord or a cop. caring about shit is literally the only thing we can do to improve ourselves and others in this hellscape and you're actively choosing your gamer words over listening to other people and modifying your behavior, that's fucking bullshit and you're an asshole for doing it.

In 2012, Zuckerberg and Chan spent their honeymoon in Rome. He later said, “My wife was making fun of me, saying she thought there were three people on the honeymoon: me, her, and Augustus. All the photos were different sculptures of Augustus.” The couple named their second daughter August.

          lol

Hey there's nothing wrong with being a history nerd

There's quite a lot with being a history nerd on your honeymoon if your wife aint into it tho

there's also a lot of problem with being a history nerd who idolizes dictators because you want to be one.

Augustus consolidated power from a plutocratic republic in crisis, seems apt.

I feel like the dude is neurodivergent and people laughing at his weird facial expressions are just doing your classic ableism.

They got their metaphor completely backwards, and trying to write the rest of the game around that fucked them in a million ways. Still has a lot of cool moments though.

Mankind Divided. Why are Augs treated like a maligned minority? Surely the problem should be that Augs are more likely to be wealthy, and the poor are being cut out of society more and more because they can't get augments necessary to compete on the job market. There's a sidequest in HR where you learn that a pimp is forcing his girls to get augments and debt trapping them, and in MD it should be a systemic problem where the entire middle class is saddled with augments they didn't want and unpayable debts they work themselves to death trying to pay.

But instead the super strong and super fast cyborgs are turned into a hamfisted metaphor for racism.

I just want robo limbs and hotswappable genitals. Can't spell trans-humanism without trans.

Seriously though, if we have to live through dystopia can we please have some of the cool aesthetics. Or better yet socialism with the cool cyberpunk aesthetics :cyber-lenin:

Only tangentially related, but I just discovered that Netrunner went out of print at the end of 2018 and I'm super bummed out about it.

I've been reading up on that, and while I find that fascinating, I'm skeptical that they'll actually be able to adequately carry the torch. They don't print the old sets, obviously, and I'm skeptical of what their capacity to print new sets will be. Only time will tell!
