      Do they have any experience with Marxism?

      The Communist Manifesto and *Socialism: Utopian and Scientific * did a good job explaining historical materialism to me.

      Imperialism and State and Revolution does a good job at teaching how relevant Marxism still is today. Imperialism describes exactly how the American financial system works.

      Also, I think reading modern Marxist-Leninist perspectives is very helpful. Seeing MLs get the situation in Ukraine, Venezuela, Hong Kong, etc. exactly correct were good learning moments for me. It becomes very obvious that most tendencies on the Left have no idea what the hell is going on outside this country.

      I think this is changing for the better. I remember Occupy people trying to convince me Euromaiden was a socialist revolution lmao

      For a basic starting point just for Marxism-Leninism?Probably wouldn’t add anything if they just want the classics and you don’t wana overwhelm them. seems like an A+ list to get started with. A lot of these are what I started with years ago
