They fired the employee who asked them to wear a mask? Wtf that's totally within their rights

While I'm grateful I get some leeway to call people out for outright refusing to wear masks and can refuse service, the management where I am also refuses to acknowledge that some people are just wearing useless (thin to the point of being transparent) "masks" and condescendingly asked "well what WOULD make you comfortable". Like for fucks sake a surgical mask or equivalent cloth covering, how hard is this to understand? So I'm allowed to ask people to keep their mask over their nose, but not allowed to call people out for wearing a completely ineffectual mask that blocks nothing.

Someone from my family is a rent-a-cop at a store, and there are legal limits on max occupancy in the store (you know, with the whole pesky corona thing and all), but he's forbidden from stopping people if the limit is reached. So, it's like there was no limit at all

Over here it's actually a legal requirement, with possible fines if caught. But nobody goes around enforcing it. The only enforcement is when some women go to protest a fucking anti-abortion ruling outdoors, wearing masks and keeping their distance. Now that's a threat worthy of the porkorate's attention.
