    Technically yes, but they'd have to pull an existing virus that could already infect humans from Chinese bats, or infect the bats with something similar to cover their tracks. There's more evidence supporting a local animal > human jump then a released virus, and I doubt the US is fully competent enough to release a bioweapon that seems like a natural occurance to everyone

        Lol. Fed accusation because I've actually bothered to explore this and understand that there's basically nothing to suggest covid is a bioweapon, and because I acknowledge it's damn near impossible to create a bioweapon and make it look like a completely natural occurance with a natural spread
