Like how does it even matter? The Dems would've probably done very much the same when it comes to the economy.
No kidding, but the Bourgeoisie isn't about to admit that the problem lies at the core of the economic system they created now, are they? When an economic crisis strikes, all they can do is play hot potato and hope that their faction isn't the one left holding the bag. "No, the problem isn't Capitalism. The problem isn't even Neoliberalism. The problem is those cosmopolitan Democrats / hick Republicans!" Pay no mind to the fact that the entire ruling elite is unanimous in their desire to strip as much redundancy out of our healthcare and social support infrastructure as possible if it means they can make an extra dime in the short term.
