    It always amuses me that people use the word "CCP member" as if the CCP was some intelligence organization and not just a fucking political party.

      Parties have members too??

      I guess people don't usually call registered dems/republicans and operatives "members" but that's only because US parties in particular are weird as fuck and no one understands them. But, like, there is nothing weird with using "member", it's not a loaded term, every party ever has members.

        oh yeah i didn't mean it that way, I was saying how being a party member is a completely normal thing, but these articles say it as if "CCP member" meant that these people dedicated their lives to the CCP.

      I mean we call political partymembers of the DNC and RNC "operatives", so maybe it's another form of projection.
