The only thing I've used internet explorer for in the last 10 years is to log in to ancient router interfaces or use government websites that "recommend" it for some reason. Even worse this person was a millennial that uses computers all the time, when I asked them why they were using internet explorer still I got "I've always used it".
Worked at a trashy IT corp and the customer demanded that our system we sell them works on Internet Explorer, because they aren't gonna install anything else on the computers.
Nah, it was IE10. But they had to install the proprietary stuff from our company in the end anyway, so it was kinda dumb. The developers tested on Chrome though, and then when the inevitable IE10 wtfness came up with the customers they had a Pikachu face that how dare this not work on IE.
