Just because you can’t wake up and say you’re serving the motherland does not mean you can’t wake up and absolutely crush it as a communist in a capitalist world. You can wake up and serve yourself, serve your community, and do as much as you possibly can to dismantle oppressive structures and get us one step closer to a communist future. Do self care, but don’t grow complacent.

“Complacency is the enemy of study. We cannot really learn anything until we rid ourselves of complacency.” - Mao

Edit: we need something corny like /c/motivation or /c/discipline it’ll actually be so helpful

Why do that when you can stay in your room and endlessly bitch, moan, and cry on the internet, driving yourself further and further into cynicism and depression?

Or better still -- bitch and moan about people who actually go out and try to serve their community! Why aren't they doing more, and doing it exactly my way???

What is that community to serve? While everyone likes a good Mao quote who isn't a landlord, the question might be looked at for its content.

Is it your neighborhood, is it your state, is it your peer group or the abstract sublimination of Tao-like individuals under the community? Is it in fact chapo chat?
