lmao even if only electric cars are allowed, why have a building?? just do drive thrus. you could even do a batcave as a psycho capitalist who wants all the workers to be hidden in a factory of misery. just put a bunch of sonic drivethru kinda outlets up, you press buttons and the groceries come up from the floor on a conveyer belt. also like if youre gonna have a full warehouse, you might as well automate it and have people pick things on an electronic menu display or through an app.

i mean if you just do it all on a conveyer belt from the warehouse youd be fine in that regard. of course they wanna reinvent this so the poors cant have food tho

because the people who propose this sort of thing are profoundly dumb and can't conceive of anything but incremental change, usually for the worse but described as "better!'

It was a disease that developed through the Bliss emotion drug.

        It's called Gridlock.

But yeah, good episode. Everyone just sits in their car assumes that surely the next exit will be open. People are willing to kill themselves in the off chance that the fast lane (which requires you to be carpooling) will get them to nowhere faster

        Bleak.

Man, it's weird to hear a 16-floor building be called a skyscrapers but supposedly first skyscrapers were like 10 storeys tall.

Has anyone ever experienced that they're shopping for groceries and can't find a particular item so you walk trough the shop multiple times before you find it? Imagine how much trouble that creates in such a store.

Nah you gotta be super supportive, like “I admit I had my doubts but I think this is gonna work!” as they keep dumping grift money into it

But now I’m reminded of how much shit like this gets funded when the resources could be put to uses which could actually improve lives :sadness:
