As long as you make your arguments well, and arent like explicitly "communism will win", using marxist concepts is perfectly fine in any sociology class. Of course, if you know your proffesor is a chud, tone it down a bit, but even then its unlikely they will care too much, and only mark down if your paper is actually written badly.
