I got offered a job in Asheville a few weeks ago but couldn't find housing in such short notice. It seems like they have a sizeable leftist community, at least, more than what I'm used to living in the south.
Nice I lived there for a couple years but couldn't find a good stable job that allowed me to afford rent in Asheville proper and didnt care to be a visibly queer couple in the outskirts. The trans community there is really awesome
