Joe Biden is absolutely going allow some fucked up shit to happen, he doesn't even really believeor know how serious climate change is, just plays it lip service. Similar how Obama did while he green lit Keystone XL pipeline and others.
Attenborough is a Malthusian. He's against feeding the poor. He has some valid critiques about the contradiction of capitalism's endless growth, but his solution to climate change is essentially eco-fascism.
Always thought he was overrated. Even if he has an okay voice, there's no need to plaster him all over every fucking documentary
Not to say there aren't other better documentarians out there, but his work is so influential in getting people into life sciences, though. I do research in a field that's biology-adjacent and many of the 'origin stories' of the biologists and conservationists I've met start with binging his videos in the school holidays. Shame his politics suck.
