My consumption habits be revolutionary :ferret:
The revolution to have 10% less chicken per square foot by consuming only free range and paying 3x more.
Hand wringing over product consumption is the 69th form of liberalism.
non-Amerikkkan liberals be like
I'm a true revolutionary because I refuse to inconvenience myself in any way.
If this is a reference to my comments about King Arthur flour, I stand by my claim that they're as good as you can get in a capitalist system which should be worrying.
I don't know what that is, but this is just a reference to how westerners are so absorbed into capitalist hegemony that even they see politics as an identity that can be performed through consumption of products
There was a thread about King Arthur flour last night and I made some comments about how them being employee owned is cool and good. Totally agree about no ethical consumption under capitalism. Without complete worker control on all levels of the supply chain, even "ethical" companies still end up abusing labor at some point. Whether that be on the farm, in the factory, in distribution, in marketing, or in sales. At some point, someone is being abused to generate profit.
