I'm glad the trend of calling bad things "gay" seems to have died off. I mean there's still homophobia all over don't get me wrong. But it's a small victory.
as someone who goes to an American high school, that trend has unfortunately not died, especially among the freshmen and sophomores.

I remember kids in my day saying the word "oh diss" after every insult. Also the cultural artifact of needing to insult everyone to pass the time, that was just pointless. It's like TV sitcoms were trying to ruin healthy social interactions to further capitalist ideology.
