Actual tenured professors produce poor research a fair amount of the time, but "yeah I looked into it for a paper I wrote before I switched majors in undergrad" is ironclad proof.
Also: that sub apparently has 2 million subscribers. It has plenty of people who are well intentioned, who are interested in history, but who have basically a meme-level understanding of it. Seems like a good target for radicalization.
Especially if you died between 1900 and 1940. Don't forget to assume a number of people were killed by Mao, then say half of those were women, and every woman has 3 kids on average, so it's actually many more. Also old age and the aggressors in the civil war are all victims. They didn't kill anyone.
Especially if you died between 1900 and 1940.
Oh no, it specifically says it is after the civil war and all civilians! Literally everyone who died in China between the 50s and 70s was personally merked by Mao.
Capitalism is natural and blessed by god, unlike the outdated feudalist divine right of kings which wasn't really natural
I know everybody here gets it, but in case some chud wanders in, lots of people died under Stalin, Mao, and Hitler. The difference between them is, Hitler INTENDED for those people to die. Famines used to happen you fucking idiots
Also, if communist countries hadn't had to scramble to build up defensive capacity against the imminent threat of imperialism, they probably would have handled modernization a lot more smoothly. If the USSR hadn't industrialized the former Russian empire at breakneck speed, the Germans would have steamrolled them and ethnically cleansed large parts of eastern europe.
The number counts so so idiotic
I did some research and Columbus killed 2 billion people if you attribute the discovery of the Americas to him
Adam & Eve are responsible for every human death in history
Or just Adam I guess
100 mil?
Thats what Britan brought to India alone. Never mind every other colony and every other colonizer.
