I think it’s a necessity that we get people to understand why the things they are saying and doing are transphobic and not just resorting to instabans towards people who have good intentions but are genuinely ignorant Many bans are clearly deserved and are given to people who simply don’t belong on this site, but some in my opinion just turn people away who could easily be educated and reasoned with. At the same time, I get how essentially putting this burden on trans comrades to educate others is kinda problematic.
