        In case you're serious - guvna is British slang from like 100 years ago, it isn't still in use in any context except productions of Dickens novels

    Can someone 'splain me why this has to have occurred in an immunocompromised person? Can't viruses evolve in healthy people just fine? Wouldn't an immunocompromised person succumb to the virus?

      healthy person fights it off eventually, immunocompromised person can incubate the virus for longer bc the body's compromised immune system doesn't fight it off

      The variant has many mutations, deletions, and insertions. One of the deletions has been shown to increase the likelihood that the virus evades a compromised immune system.
