Handwringing about a government shutdown. Oh no, we have to keep this piece of shit government open so they can continue the hard work of helping nobody.

This is more terrible negotiating from the Democrats, but government shutdowns are bad. Don't fall into the smoothbrain reactionary trap of "the government does things I don't like so let's shut it all down." Shutdowns keep the shittiest parts of the state functioning (the drones, prisons, and concentration camps at the border don't just stop working) while kneecapping the good stuff.
