It's like those gaming PC builds which cheap out on the mobo and power supply, putting the rest of the parts at risk. The type of guy that does this also always think they're super clever because the specs are more or less the same as well.
Is there really a huge difference between mobos though? The thing that matters most is the chooser and as long as you get a rated board with an official choosey you should be in the clear right?
