Very refreshing not to see constant video game or pop culture movie shit in every other thread on this site

Keep it up Chapos

    Last Airbender? Yes.

    Legend of Korra? Ehhhh...

Blue tree people and bad font? No.

Korra had a pretty lurkwarm reception when you came out. Are you saying it's because it was too lib?

          when you came out.

          This has not happened yet.

Nah, I'm saying it's unerrated on Chapo. Whenever it's brought up, people say "don't watch it, it's lib", but it's still really good

My point is that Korra is looked down on pretty much everywhere on internet.

weak characters. Seriously, name one of Mako's character traits.

It's not terrible, but it's in the unenviable position of necessarily being compared to The Last Airbender, which has extremely strong characters.

Mako's a pretty dry, serious guy, which isn't that interesting when he's on his own, but works well when there's Bolin or Wu to act as a foil

Yeah, her job as Avatar was to maintain what looked like a post WW2 neo-lib capitalism.

But the pacing was weird to me. Instead of having one "big bad" like TLAB, each story arc flew by so fast that it felt like nobody really knew what was going on or what they were doing outside of "punch bad guy".
