They said I had to use a different gender pronoun, so now I'm pro-Hitler.

Sorry, Libs. You brought this on yourselves.

I was looking around for articles that could maybe explain Edward Norton's transformation in that movie better than I could, but I decided against it when all of the search results were like "ooh, look at Edward Norton as this buff nazi!" and prominently displayed the giant swastika tattoo on his chest

Ugh, that's tragic. American History X is a great movie, even if it does have a bit of lib "both sides perpetuate the cycle of violence"-shit in it.

It's almost impossible to see how someone could miss the point so badly as to look at it and see a story about a cool Nazi.

Worth noting that the chosen images actually reinforce the point being made. The first image isn't just a random Ed Norton role to contrast with him later playing a skinhead.

The first image is from Edward Norton's first film, the 1996 psychological thriller Primal Fear. In that film Edward Norton plays

an altar boy, with a stutter, who is accused of the murder of the archbishop. At first his character seems sweet and likable, the kind of person who couldn't hurt anyone. But the twist of the film is that he is lying and is actually a conniving psychopath who willing participated in horrible crimes and then murdered the archbishop.

which reinforces the point that liberals are wearing a smiling mask over their murderous ideology.
