Haemorrhoids are treated with topical medication that dilate the blood vessels

I'll admit I haven't seen a haemorrhoid patient in real life yet, nor do I plan to. But I don't think this is right, The medical treatment of haemorrhoids is mostly done with ligation (Or they're just cut out, but that's not the norm), but only if a regiment of improved diet, exercise and haemorrhoid cream hasn't worked (Or it is suspected it won't work). And haemorrhoid cream can contain a lot of stuff, like vaso constrictors analgesics, or some sort of barrier like petroleum jelly. But not a vasoDILATOR as far as I can tell. Like I don't even see how you would treat them with a vasodilator, vasodilation is sort of the opposite of what you want if you want the haemorrhoids to go away. (On a related topic: I don't even think you even treat vericose veins with vasoactive drugs IIRC, since they don't respond to those drugs.)

Also, I don't think you can treat them at all by stimulation. I don't... I don't understand how that would work mechanically. Edit: If this were true we could treat them by spanking, and by your analysis we could treat vericose veins by slapping people's legs or pinching. )Or just by having people run around.)
