Yeah he was calling people "bitch" and acting like emotional abuse is a thing that doesn't exist because nobody goes to jail for it. I get that they said they were abused themselves, and that is awful but yeah. Downplaying other forms of abuse is not how you make things better.

There is a growing movement to criminalise coercive control in domestic violence matters which includes emotional abuse
