Totally correct that any amount of involvement in real organizing greatly diminishes how much you care about this online bullshit. Every SINGLE TIME i've felt a bit hesitant about someone being banned or purges, there's a quick reaction and meltdown that 100% convinces me the bans were justified in the first place.

Thanks guys, all this drama has brought back memories from my youth learning social skills from forums. Now it makes sense why I thought way too long that being an asshole makes me look smarter or funnier, that someone actually cared if I won an argument or that being grounded for 24 hours online is the peak of injustice.

I'm convinced internet drama gets ramped up when the days get shorter and the weather gets all cold and nasty. That's why you never see us Californians, Australians, or South Africans stirring up shit ;)
