For me the big question is the Tblisi suburbs. We know Abkhazia is solidly red and I don't think that's changing tonight. Also hearing word that some people are gonna vote Republican to try to get a moderating force that can compromise with Gakharia, but no idea how many people that is. Who ya got?

Holy shit! They're doing it. Democrats are going to take the Senate. So what will their excuse be now for not passing the agenda we need? The political moment is strongly anti-Republican. So there is a good chance we get a progressive agenda forced upon Biden.

      Joe Manchin. :-/

Manchin will be the excuse because he needs to be placated and he knows it. Bernie also becomes crazy powerful as well.

Yeah at least I can tell my liberal family members that a sweeping progressive agenda is needed to avoid being slaughtered in Congress in 2022. They'll lose either way but at least some people would get some relief. (Not counting on that either)

These next 2 years will expose Liberals and finish them off once and for all. This is their last time having any sort of power,

Let this be the bourgeois revolution that precedes the worker revolution. The theory of two revolutions requires the first one for exactly that reason. So the left can see the Democrats for who they really are.

I thought it was gone already? Manchin is simply needed to pass any legislation. Am I wrong?

It's not gone which is why Republicans couldn't pass a lot of significant legislation in the past few years, they needed 60 votes.

Fillibuster is gone for judges though

There's a thing called budget reconciliation which can be used one a year to do things, that needs 50 votes and is how the 2017 tax cuts worked. Idk what Dems could do with that it has some limitations

I think this takes in to account how Democratic/Republican the remaining uncounted counties are.

Both Democrats remain heavily favored, despite their deficit in the tabulated vote. They’re favored to win the vote left to be counted by 9 to 10 points.

I've seen enough. Raphael Warnock (D) defeats Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R) in GA's special Senate runoff. #GASEN

I remember watching the forecasts on these slide back and forth during the primary, I don't buy it, but hope I'm wrong because I am so desperately needy for the maga cope

The county map shows which districts have votes remaining to count, and its almost entirely Cobb and Dekalb counties. If the estimated 42% reporting is accurate, with a 100k vote lead, then the remaining 58% is going to grow the Democrat lead by at least 100k. That puts them over, and there is a similar story in a few other smaller counties, which are all heavily Democrat. I'm going to sleep optimistic.

OH they'll do something with all that power.

Biden and Manchin have been wanting to cut Social Security benefits for decades.

Betting odds favor Dems by a fucking lot atm. Ossoff would have to really fuck up in the suburbs to lose now.
