We've gone from nearly tearing ourselves apart to complete left unity for the sake of :sicko-yes: . Who knows, maybe this is a sign that we can grow the fuck up and work together irl too.

    To make it incredibly succinct,this community's proximity to the general Reddit crowd has always meant that a certain amount of latent problematic-ness has been present. Some of our adjacent communities are worse than ours of course (cough cough). Some users have felt put off by this, and the mods' want to stamp it out. This has caused some users to call the reaction out as "mod overreach" and whatever (classic subreddit drama stuff, what's new?). There's also some evidence that outsiders have taken advantage of the situation and amplified certain viewpoints to stir drama themselves.
