Finally started this. Friendship ended with EIGHTIES ANIME. Now SEVENTIES ANIME is my best friend.

i would argue 80s anime starts in october 1982 with macross*. but yeah i don't think anything from 1980 counts
*and possibly earlier but i can't think of anything rn
