Why do we think trump has capitulated so completely? Is it really just because he got yeeted from every social media platform? Do the men in black have a gun to his head? Replaced by a body double by the deep state? Or did he just shit his pants when he saw things get out of hand?
(I realise it’s not exactly the first time his actions have led to violence and death, but it’s the first time anyone in the ruling class has been in any serious danger, maybe he sees this escalation as potentially personally threatening to himself?)

I lean toward him realizing how things got out of hand and could possibly comeback to bite him in the ass.
Short term : He cant post (which is super important to his smoothbrain psyche by now I guess)
Long Term : All of US establishment the coming after his business empire to make an example out of
