My first reaction was "who?", so I clicked on the article, saw their picture, chuckled, and hit the back button.

Yeah that 2017 attack was reported in the news at the time and then kinda brushed off. You can find people talking about it on twitter and reddit. There are also accounts of him preying on underaged fans and knowingly spreading an STI... and of course he has a very long history of open bigotry. No idea how it's taken this long for people to clue into the fact that he's a major piece of shit and a predator.

Also fuck John Maus for protecting this piece of shit. "Left of left of left" my ass.

Amazing that a kid who grew up with a multimillionaire father would turn out this way.

He's been a chud and a creep forever:

      Warning: bigotry

      spoiler

Some of his provocations included "It’s not illegal to be racist", "This gay marriage stuff pisses me off", and his expressed "love" for necrophiliacs, pedophiles, and the Westboro Baptist Church

Ariel Pink got talking about "beta male revenge." Apparently, their intelligence and empathy means that "beta males have got it figured out so that they don't have to chase or rape their prey, so to speak".

"anyone who is crying about police brutality or victimization as an adult needs to stop it and realize the privileges we have in this country"

according to an interviewer, explained with "a tirade about gender politics and how everybody under 27 considers themselves bi- or transsexual

      Those all predate 2016

I recently learned this guy (Rosenberg) is his dad:

"The Orange County Register reports 66-year-old Mario Rosenberg and 65-year-old Roy Chester Dickson became the last of 19 people connected to Unity Surgical Outpatient Center in Buena Park to be convicted in the elaborate scam.

Rosenberg, a doctor, pleaded no contest to felony insurance fraud. He faces 10 years in prison. Dickson, an attorney, pleaded guilty money laundering and grand theft. He faces 14 years.

Prosecutors say Rosenberg was one of three doctors accused of performing more than 1,000 unnecessary surgeries."

My partner and I were reading the "Personal Life" section of his wikipedia page yesterday. Quite a read.

Pink’s bid to get a restraining order against his ex was denied by the court, which concluded her claims against him were “constitutionally-protected activities.” citing California’s “anti-SLAPP” statute, which is designed to protect against intimidation through frivolous lawsuits. The court also ordered Pink to pay Coe’s legal fees, according to Pitchfork.

Carlson did not bring up Pink’s legal slap-down in the seven-minute interview, nor did he bring up any of the other controversies that have swirled around Pink over the years, maintaining focus on the rocker as a typical musician whose career was destroyed solely as the result of attending the Trump rally on Washington, D,C. Jan. 6.

“When reasonable people like you are destroyed, all of us should take notice,” Carlson said in wrapping up the interview.

He could have said the bit about being destitute BECAUSE he lost his girlfriend and subsequent lawsuit against her, and the Fox audience still would empathize with him.

I saw Ariel Pink at a grocery store in Philly yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
