I'm sure somebody has a strong political stance on geology
Yeah, geology people just wanna look at rocks all day but they got roped into capitalism hard by oil barons :deeper-sadness:
It really does suck. My buddy majored in geology. He's a valet at a ski resort now. He couldn't find a job that didn't make him feel awful.
we need to make sure that in our farming we keep the soil intact and don't mismanage it as North Korea had done in the 80s. This, combined with the collapse of the USSR, drought, and capitalist embargo led to major famine; if we want to sustain the revolution we must keep the people fed. Soil preservation techniques are a must for any socialist project
That makes a lot of sense to me.
