I learned that in New York, police can use "anti-loitering statute" to target and harass members of the Trans community, especially if they are also a trans women of color.
Makes one thaink that all that's been accomplished is that bigoty has just been dressed up in legalese so activist can be pointed at and labeled as seeing bigotry where there is none "officially".
